Pomm in her studio

Pomm is a working fine artist.

Pomm has spent her career developing a watercolor technique that's almost extinct โ€” layered, transparent, photographic in detail. She studied the Renaissance masters. She paints originals collected around the world.

And now she teaches her exact method to a small group of students inside the Institute.

Her work

The kind of painting she teaches.

Pomm teaches live โ€” face to face โ€” every week. This is one of the rooms she shows up in to work directly with her students.

Sheila Barron's watercolor otter painting
Student work

Sheila Barron

"I feel like the otter is done. My favorite part is his nose โ€” I feel like that is a really good nose. He's not perfect, but he's not bad. On to the next."

Carolyn Vickers's watercolor of an ocean overlook
Student work

Carolyn Vickers

"This is tons of fun! I learned so much from the multiple layers to tones and shadows. Thank you Pomm โ€” this is the biggest piece I have ever done. I am pleased."

Jan Hansen's finished watercolor
First finished piece

Jan Hansen

A finished piece shared in the community just hours after it came off the easel โ€” exactly the kind of work students are producing inside the Institute.

On your call

What to expect.

The call takes about 30 minutes. Here's what we'll actually cover.

1

Where you are with watercolor right now

Complete beginner, returning after years away, already painting and wanting to go deeper โ€” wherever you are, we want to understand it before we suggest anything.

2

What you're hoping to create

The paintings in your head, the kind of work that moves you, the level you want to reach. The clearer this is, the easier it is to tell you whether we're the right fit.

3

How the Institute actually works

What's inside, how the teaching is structured, what kind of time it asks of you, and what the investment looks like. Straight answers, no theatre.

4

An honest fit recommendation

If the Institute is right for you, we'll say so. If it isn't, we'll say that too โ€” and point you toward what might be a better next step. That's the only way this works.

Is this the right call for you?

This isn't for you if youโ€ฆ

  • Are looking for a free YouTube tutorial replacement
  • Want a quick weekend hack to "learn watercolor fast"
  • Aren't interested in committing time to your practice
  • Want a course you can passively watch without doing the work
  • Aren't sure if you actually want to paint at all

If it feels right โ€” let's talk.

Pick a slot, hop on a call, and we'll take it from there. No payment to book. No pressure on the call.
