Pomm's Watercolor Institute
Meet the artist
you'll be learning from.
A few minutes inside Pomm's studio โ her technique, her philosophy, and the method she now teaches at the Institute.
Pomm walks you through how she actually paints โ and what she'll teach you.
I have an endless amount of beautiful images in my head that I want to create. The Institute is where I show you how to find yours.
โ Pomm
The method she'll teach you
Pomm's watercolor approach is unlike anything else being taught today. Here's what makes it different โ and what you'll learn to do yourself.
The water-veil layering technique
Pomm paints with so much water that the canvas has to lie flat โ each layer goes on as a transparent veil, building luminous depth without ever turning opaque. It's the foundation of her work, and the first thing students learn.
Real flowers, real leaves, real detail
Her work isn't impressionistic. Every leaf, petal, and stone is observed and outlined individually. Inside the Institute you'll learn how to actually see what you're painting โ and render it with the patience it deserves.
Painting toward a feeling, not a finish line
Pomm doesn't ask "when is it done?" โ she asks "have I said what I wanted to say?" That shift in mindset is what separates a technical painter from an artist with a voice. It's what the Institute is built around.
The hand of the artist, in your hand
The reason original art moves people is that you can feel the artist in it. The goal of the Institute isn't to make you paint like Pomm โ it's to give you a method strong enough that your own hand starts to come through.
Most courses teach you watercolor.
Pomm teaches you her watercolor.
A specific philosophy. A specific method. Taught directly by the artist who developed it.
Taught by the artist herself โ not an assistant
Every lesson, every demo, every piece of feedback comes from Pomm. You're learning the technique from the person who actually paints with it.
A method, not a style to copy
You won't leave painting like Pomm. You'll leave with a layered, water-led approach that lets your own work emerge โ at whatever level you're starting from.
Built for the long game
Pomm's process takes patience โ and so does becoming the painter you want to be. The Institute is structured around steady progress, not quick wins or hacks.
The hands behind every painting are the same ones teaching you.
What you've just watched isn't a polished marketing version of Pomm's process. It's the actual technique she works with every day โ and the same one she now teaches inside the Institute.
When we speak on your call, we'll talk about where you are with watercolor right now, what you're hoping to create, and whether the Institute is the right fit. No pressure, no script โ just a real conversation.
โ See you on the call
